1940s Trapunto Crepe Gown–XS

Soft puce crepe, exaggerated padded shoulders, gold cord trapunto embroidery with silver studs. Full floor-length skirt is fitted through hips. Side zip closure.
Fits like a true modern US ladies' size 2
(model is 5'4", size 2)

Condition Very good; some fading, a scuff on the back of one shoulder, small mark on back of bodice near waist. Stitching and zipper are baby blue, so may have started life an entirely different color.
