1930s Silk Chiffon Afternoon Dress–S/M

Sheer floral silk chiffon dress ca. 1933-1935. Shirred, generously ruffled collar and sleeves, repeated in the shirred draped panel front of skirt. Collar can be worn open or done up with hook & eye. Below-calf hem, side seam snaps closure. National Recovery Act label in side waist.
Fits like modern US ladies' size 4-6
(model is 5'4", size 2)

Condition Very good; the fuchsia dye has transferred faintly, otherwise excellent.
